Assembly instructions for Bali flags
The correct length of the rod:
The length of the pole is chosen according to the flag length. For example, a 4-meter flag requires a 4-meter pole. Because the poles are not inserted all the way to the end of the kite's tail, 30-50 cm of space remains at the bottom of the flagpole.
The flagpole can also be one meter longer than the flag, in which case it will stand higher on the flagpole.
The appropriate length of the flagpole is specified in the product description of the Bali flag.
Mounting the telescopic rod:
- remove the rubber stopper at the thin end of the rod
- let the elements slide out one by one (from thin to thick)
- by gently pulling the rods clamp and hold firmly
Disassembling the telescopic rod:
- Release the lock by gently turning and pressing (from thick to thin)
- Don't let the individual elements fall down with force! You might break the screw cap.
Tips for setup:
Please do not bury or concrete the poles! The poles must be able to move freely, otherwise there is a risk that they will break or bend.
We offer ground anchors made of aluminum tubing or fiberglass. They are simply driven into the ground at the desired angle.
Unscrew the plastic cap at the bottom of the telescopic pole and place the flagpole over it - done.
This allows you to give the flagpole and thus the entire flag the correct (and important) inclination.

If you do not want to put the ground anchors directly into the ground, you can also use the Ground socket use.
If you are practical, you can easily build a flag stand for solid ground yourself:
Take a 10-liter plastic bucket, insert a long cardboard roll (e.g. from kitchen towels) into it at the desired incline and fill the bucket with concrete.
After curing and turning over, you have a homemade flag stand.
The top of the flagpole
The telescopic pole is very sharp at the top and can easily pierce the flag fabric.
We recommend using the Hose section SC50 when the flag with a straight flagpole The 50cm long plastic tube prevents the pole tip from piercing the flag fabric.
Should the flag built with the typical rounding we recommend using the Round arch KB100 . This replaces the thinnest, uppermost element of the telescopic pole.
Assembly of the round arch
- open the screw cap at the lower, thicker end of the GRP rod
- remove the thinnest of the telescopic elements
- screw the cap back on at the bottom
- Remove the rubber cap on the upper, thin end of the GRP rod
- Insert the round arch attachment with the slotted end into the first telescopic element
- pull out the remaining elements and clamp them with a slight pull
- Raise the flag
